EVERY STORY STARTS SOMEWHERE
Ours began with a love of fragrance, a slightly overactive imagination, and the belief that the smallest moments are often the ones worth remembering.

Danielle, Founder of The Next Chapter
ONCE UPON A TIME...
The Next Chapter didn’t begin with a business plan.
It began with a love of fragrance, stories, and the strange little way a scent can take you somewhere you thought you’d forgotten.
A familiar perfume. A candle burning while you read. The smell of autumn through an open window. Christmas at home. A fragrance that reminds you of a person, a place, or an entirely different version of yourself.
I’ve always believed our lives are made up of chapters.
Some we never want to end. Some we’re relieved to close. And some arrive unexpectedly and change the whole story.

The Next Chapter was created to capture them.

Here, fragrance is never just fragrance.

Every collection begins with a chapter, and every scent becomes a moment, a place or a character within it.
You might find yourself wandering through The Reading Room, disappearing into The Afternoon That Disappeared, coming Home Before Dark, meeting The Gentleman, or finally deciding it’s time to become the Main Character.
The fragrance comes afterwards.

The story always comes first.
THE STORY BEHIND
THE STORIES

THE MEANING BEHIND THE NAME
Because no story
Ends on one page.
Life changes.
We fall in love. We lose people. We begin again. We outgrow things we once thought we’d keep forever. We become different versions of ourselves.

And somewhere between all of it are the ordinary moments we don’t realise we’ll miss until they’ve passed.

The Next Chapter is my way of bottling a few of them.
A fragrance for where you’ve been.
A fragrance for where you are.
And perhaps one for wherever you’re going next.

A NOTE FROM DANIELLE
I never wanted to create products that simply smelled beautiful.

I wanted to create the fragrance you light on a rainy Sunday and eventually associate with home. The perfume that reminds you of who you were during one particular summer. The candle you buy again every November because somehow it has become part of the season.

That’s the magic of fragrance for me. We don't just remember how something smelled. We remember who we were when we smelled it.
So every chapter I create starts with a story, and somewhere along the way, I hope one of mine becomes part of yours.
